My name is Marie Johansson and I live in the north of Sweden with my partner and our two children (Max, 10 and Alice, 6 years old).
My “style” is colourful and playful. I often use a lot of papers and embellishments. I try to have the photo in focus, and to reflect the feeling of the photo in the layout. I love playing around with different mediums like paint and gesso, and I believe every layout needs a bit of black colored stamping on it. Over the years I think my way of creating has developed from “pure” scrapbooking to become more Mixed Media Scrapbooking. If I would call my style something – well maybe Playful Punk Chic? (if i do a romantic layout, I can´t help giving it a playful twist…).

My name is Anna Wiśniewska - Wiosanka. I live with my family in Poland, in a small village near the Baltic Sea.
My scrapbooking passion is creating mixed - media layouts (the most with pictures of my two sons), but I am also addicted to making albums and frames for pictures.
Some time ago I dicovered the opportunities hidden in canvas and now I often make canvas with pictures, and I do this with a great pleasure :-) I like to play with colours very much - my projects are full of colours, a little messy, always splashed with lots of different media.
I’m absolutely thrilled and excited to be part of Words & Paintery Creative Team!

My name is Lena Holmström. Born in a beautiful archipelago in Finland, now I live in small town call Turku. Proud mom for three children, triplets born 1990. They are my everything. As long as I can remember I have done something creative, it´s my mother’s legacy. I have made pallet furniture, lamp made from old books, jewelry box about Pringles tubes etc.You can find all that in my blog. I found scrapbooking and mixed media about two years ago and I completely lost my heart for that.
I also always try to use some recycled materials in my work. Jewelry, old books, screws, flowers, leaves etc. It´s so thrill to be a part of his amazing team. I´m so grateful.
My name is Karine Gagnon, I’m 35 years old and I am a french teacher in high school here in Quebec city. I’m the happy partner of a man since 19 years and the mother of two wonderful children: Marianne who is almost five, and Antoine, who’ll turn two in december. They are the stars of my scrapbooking pages because I’m an enthusiast photographer! I discovered scrapbooking about ten years ago, when my boyfriend came home with a magazine, telling me that he thought of me when he saw it. If only he’d knew the monster he created! I’m passionated about that wonderful hobby since then. My style is pretty versatile, but I tend to go for a shabby chic layout (I just can’t resist flowers) with a mixed media background. Since I discovered mixed media, I just can’t do a page without altering it! Playing with all those mediums is my favorite part in the scrapbooking process. I’m so happy to be a part of this adventure and I hope that my passion for this art will show in what I’ll show you on the blog!

I love all kinds of media – if I would have to define my style, I would say that media are the only constant thing. My favourite colours are fresh, bold greens, blues and pinks, but at the same time I just love delicate, pale hues of beige, rose and white. However there is something in my projects, what can be found always – a positive, feminine style.
Scrapbooking fills my whole life – it is all around me – in my private life and in my job career. I love the process of creation – I have created things since early childhood – all kinds of handmade things always attracted me. I cannot imagine my life without making some art. Even if I leave for a weekend, I always take my small “art-bag”, filled with art-journal supplies.
I am lucky enough to be a designer in a few very creative places. I love drinking coffee, reading books, walking through the forest, watching flowers on the meadow, basking in the autumn sun and being deep in my inner world. I can say that I am happy person and wouldn’t change a single thing in my life.
My name is Jessika but I usually use the nickname mrssandman in the scrap world and I am currently studding to become a art teacher.
I have been scrapping for eight years on and off and love it because it is so versatile, you can put almost everything on a layout or 3d project. My first craft love is painting and I put watercolor and acrylics on almost all of my layouts.
I live in the north of Sweden with two sons and my partner. My children are often the focus on my layouts because they love to be in front of the camera as much as I love to document their life.
I am so happy to join this team of amazing artist!

I am kavitha from Chennai,India.I always had the creative flair, but i am unable to pursue until i complete my studies. So after i got a degree,i got freedom to do what i want and i did couple of designing n fine arts courses. I stumbled upon paper crafting when i started blogging few years back and blown away by the talent i came across the world, which inspired me to take paper crafting seriously.I love trying something new all the time and that doesn't allow me to stay with a particular style or art form for long. From fine arts to crafts i have tried my hands on lots of things, and my latest obsession is mixed media.I love mixed media more as it inspires me to create with out any restriction, fulfills my love for playing with colors and to use all thing pretty.
My creations are inspired by colors,my style is more of clean and cluttered with a touch of shabby chic or vintage.
Apart from crafting i love good music, sleeping and long drives and of-course shopping;)
My name is Juliya Tirskaya, and in the Scrap World I call myself Octangula. I live with my husband, my daughter and two cats, in a small town of Yakutsk (Far East, Russia). Now I am engaged in family and scrapbooking. In 2014 I wanted to make an album for my daughter, and necessarily fairytale and not with the classic scrapbooking, but mixed media. Thus began my passion, which was for me a very important part of life.
Today, I am in search of myself and my style. I love to make out dark and mysterious photos, play with the decor, creating a fairy tale and fantasy. I can`t imagine work without any pastes and paints, as well as without stamps. Every day the miksed media scrapbooking absorbs me more and more, and I am very happy that I had such a colorful art therapy in my life.

My name is Ewelina Gryglak. I am Polish but I have moved here and lived in Yorkshire, England for over 12 years now. When I have to be an adult (which is most of the time), I work as a tutor/team leader for maths and English in Offender Learning.
I’ve been scrapbooking for almost 2 years. I love working with mixed media; mainly 12x12 layouts but I also make cards and ATCs - I love to expand my horizons and embark on new creative journeys. I love layers and textures so that is what you can see in my work. My craft-room is full of texture pastes, stencils, paints, inks, embellishments of various type - paper, fabric, chipboard.
I work mainly with black/white photos as this gives me more freedom when creating the pages; especially when working to a moodboard or sketch.
I would define my style as ‘eclectic’ as you can find a little bit of everything in my work - paints, stencils, modelling paste, stamps, paper flowers, fabric embellishments. I have also started using my Silhouette Portrait to make custom, mostly floral embellishments to use in my pages. and they work perfect!
I am hoping that more and more British scrappers will embark on some mixed-media adventures with me.
I am looking forward to working with you and seeing all the beautiful creations!

My name is Anna, ‘KAVA Craft’ on the web. I’m happily married and have two lovely daughters. Recently we moved to Montreal (Canada) from Europe, where I lived for many years in France, Ukraine, Germany and Russia. I can speak four languages and can’t imagine my life without travelling.
I have started my paper crafting journey three years ago from cardmaking. But soon enough I understood that I need more freedom and space to express myself J So I discovered the layouts, canvases and a lot of other opportunities of self-expression. My styles are Mixed Media and Steampunk/Industrial. And of course with a lot of texture and dimension, I feel myself free with paints on my hands...
I’m so excited to join a Words & Paintery Creative team!

Originally from India, we moved to Australia 8years ago. I'm currently on a break from work to spend more time with my boys (2 & 5yr) . My scrapbooking journey started when my younger son was born. My style is still evolving but I can confidently say I love, mixed media - gesso, texture paste, paints, lace - love it all.
I'm Mandy Leever-Koel, 38 years old, married almost 11 years to my husband Pascal with whom I've been together for 20 years already. We live in the Netherlands.
We have a 3 year old son named Connor and I love being this bright, curious and naughty boy's mom.
I work part time as a dental technician, a very creative profession. I make and bake crowns and bridges.
Creativity has always been part of my family's life. My dad is a dental technician as well who loves to fix up furniture, and my mom painted furniture, taught courses in doll making and flower arranging amongst other things. I started out by making jewellery.
When my mother was about to turn 50 in 2004, I decided to make a scrapbook for her, about her life. (I read about scrapping somewhere and it seemed like fun!)
She loved the finished album I gave her as a present for her 50th birthday. Ironically enough, she passed away 2 years later. Who knew her life's scrapbook would end so soon :'(
Through the years I had periods in which I scrapped a lot and there were times I didn't scrap at all. Hoarding scrap supplies hardly ever halted though ;)
Since our son has been born, taking pictures of him has become a big hobby. Those new pictures can really inspire me to scrap a page!
Since the beginning of this year one of my scrap dreams has come true, when I became a Canvas Corp Brands Crew Member! Glimmermists are still one of my first scrapbook loves. They work great with the mixed media style I have come to love and try to experiment with more and more.
Scrapping relaxes me but it's sort of a therapy too. I scrap both happy and sad times. Whatever I feel like telling.
If you want to know more about "Less is Bore!", you can find me here:
I'm Mary and I live in beautiful shiny Greece. I'm married to a wonderfully supportive husband and we have three children. I met scrapbooking two years ago and since then it has been my obsession.
I still consider myself as a beginner and I’m always trying to improve my skills. My style is mixed media, with a little vintage and some shabby chic touches. I mostly do layouts but I love designing tags, cards, mini albums, canvases and altered items as well. As a mixed media fun, I can't create without using my stencils, pastes and mists. Flowers and embellishments are always present in my projects, too
I find lots of my inspiration in everyday life and when I scrap I feel so relaxed that I totally forget everything around me.

My name is Mabel and I come from Singapore, a small island country in Southeast Asia. I am currently a full-time university student and I’m in love with scrapbooking! I would say I’m a colour addict ever since I was exposed to Mixed Media. I love how versatile the mediums were and how unexpected they can be. My style for scrapbooking would be simple and straightforward, I’m not a big fan of complexity hence I often create tutorials (photos and videos) with hopes that I can inspire people who were intimidated by mixed media to try it. I’m a flower addict as well! I almost always grab for flowers whenever I’m crafting. That's part of my style too.
